5 Fun Ways to Practice Math at Home

Here are five simple games and activities you can try at home to make math exciting for your elementary student. 

1. Card War: Math Style 
All you need is a deck of cards! Each player flips two cards and adds, subtracts, or multiplies the numbers. Whoever has the greater answer wins that round. This game builds fluency and speed while making math competitive and fun. 
Variation: Make face cards equal to 10 or let them stand for “wild” numbers. 

2. Dice Roll Races
